Demolition of the existing building using long reach claw excavators. Proper safety measures are built to protect pedestrians and crew. Material routing is established for minimal obstruction of traffic along Las Vegas Blvd.
Excavation of site for foundation of the new building. Dirt is removed by dump truck exiting from the ramp to the main road. Soldier piles, lagging, steel whalers, and rakers are installed to hold up surrounding earth. A drainage system is put in place to keep site dry as it is below the water table.
Foundation is created in 5 stages. The main slab is split into 4 parts which is followed by the walls. Concrete pump are lifted down into place and supplied with concrete via trucks using the ramp. Trucks are constantly coming in and out following a set path for efficiency and safety.
The steel frame of the building is then errected. The frame is completed in 3 stages. A crane and concrete pump are lowered in. Proper safety equipment is installed for workers including railing and a lift system.
